Pacific Ave Santa Cruz, CA

This is Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz. It was early on a Sunday morning so there aren't as many people in these photos as there would have been a few hours later. It's a narrow street lined with retail and restaurants. Trees are planted on the sidewalk as well as in tree pits set between parking bays. Curb extensions at corners (not pictured here) make this street feel very pedestrian friendly.

State Street Santa Barbara, CA

This first post is dedicated to State Street in Santa Barbara...one of the most beautiful streets in California. Wide, shaded sidewalks in this bustling retail district make State Street a pleasure to be on.
